Experience in space industry: 14 years
PhD in Project Management from the National Aerospace University Kharkiv Aviation Institute and Master’s Degree in Economics and Finances. His employment at various governmental bodies and production companies helped him gain a valuable experience in managing state-owned enterprises.
His affiliation with the space industry started in 2006, when he was appointed Director General at Kommunar Association, a state-owned scientific and production Enterprise located in Kharkiv and producing equipment and control systems for launch vehicles. Under his management, more than 120 vehicles, i.e. Soyuz, Proton and Zenit, with Kommunar products on board, were successfully launched from Baikonur (Kazakstan). 102 astronauts were sent into space on launchers equipped with Kommunar control systems and devices.
In 2015-2016, he was appointed Chairman of the State Space Agency of Ukraine. He is an adviser to the Member of the Verkhovna Rada who leads the Parliamentary Space Group. He has been actively developing Polish-Ukrainian space projects and encouraging Europe-Ukraine partnership in space. Now being in the position of the adviser of Kyiv Radio Plant, a long-established space enterprise, he consults and facilitates the implementation of Polish-Ukrainian joint projects on the development of rocket technologies.
